Marwood was founded by Becky French in 2010. It began life as a blog in 2009 displaying a detailed sketchbook of research which ultimately inspired the concept and attitude of it’s first collection of neckties. This range was developed and crafted by expert hands in the UK, using fine English cloth. The debut collection, which launched in January 2011 featured ties made from traditional English lace.
The Marwood approach is to create products that ignite excitement from discovering something new and unusual, whilst maintaining a strong sense of tradition. The standard is now set for Marwood to continue producing innovative collections of quality items to wear and treasure time and again. (source)
